Wigmore Voices - a Community Choir based in Wigmore, Kent
Wigmore Voices (formerly MADS) is a friendly local community choir. We rehearse weekly and perform two concerts each year under the coaching of our Musical Director, Marius Reiklaitis.
Our repertoire is varied: we sing everything and anything, from classical composers such as Caccini and Mozart, through Elgar, John Rutter and Andrew Lloyd Webber, to Blondie, Abba, Queen and Bruno Mars!
Singing as part of a group has been proven to reduce stress and enhance brain function. Combined with the social benefits of belonging to a choir there are many other positive benefits for your overall health and wellbeing – and choral singing offers a great workout for your lungs!
We would like to invite you to join us: whether you are Soprano, Alto, Tenor or Bass (or have absolutely no idea which voice you are!) you will be made welcome and can discover the joy and health benefits of singing as a group. We meet on Thursdays from
8pm-10pm at St Matthew’s Community Centre, Drewery Drive, Wigmore.
