About
We are a mixed voice choir with about 30 members
Consisting of four sections - Soprano / Alto / Tenor and Bass
Originally "Medway Amateur Dramatic Society "formed back in 1965. which consisted purely of a drama section and later on a choir section was added to enhance the drama productions giving more scope and ability to perform musicals.
The choir - Now Called "Wigmore Voices " as it is now called came into being just before 2020 and has grown steadily to the numbers that we are today.
We work towards doing two concerts a year, usually in June / July and December.
We sing a wide variety of music from various genres. These can be in unison-, two-, three- or four-part harmonies.
You do not need to audition to join the choir and you do not have to be able to read music. You sing the part that suits your voice range either soprano, alto, tenor or bass.
